![]() The film will showcase the role of the men and women of Woburn who served in The Great War in a fight against tyranny and injustice. The Woburn Historical Society is made up of community volunteers and strives to preserve and promote Woburn's rich history through various programs and events. Founded in 2006 as an Ad Hoc Committee of the Woburn Historical Commission (a City government body), it is an independent non-profit corporation. The Society is open to anyone including non-residents with an interest in local history. The Society typically meets once a month except during the summer. Our monthly meetings are normally free and open to anyone, members and non-members alike. We have no political or religious affiliation. Take a moment to tour this site, see what past and future meetings and events are offered. Look at the opportunities
we have for your participation, whether that be as a researcher, a correspondent, a writer, or (if you have a flair for
theater) a costumed reenactor! We are a friendly group and you might enjoy just socializing. You are invited to the next
meeting. Call us @ 781-287-0260, e-mail us at Info@WoburnHistoricalSociety.com, or just show up at the next meeting.
